Fred Boone has served over 37 years in seven different churches in Tennessee, Alabama and Florida. The churches ranged from a small church in a major city to a rural church in north Alabama. In one church in a small city the Sunday School attendance grew from 550 to over 1100. From the rural to the small city to a major cosmopolitan area he has seen the Sunday School grow. Fred is known as the “Sunday School Doctor” because of his ability to diagnose and prescribe a strategy to revitalize a Sunday School. He is also the president & founder of Dynamic Small Groups.

Proven Church Growth Experience

Churches Fred has served as Minister of Education over the last 37 years.

First Baptist Church Mount Dora - Mount Dora, FL (Orlando Area)   

•  Administered Education Department with emphasis on Sunday School, evangelism, and discipleship.

•  Developed discipleship training program (University of Christian Training).

•  Directed daily operation of the church including budget expenditures.

•  Developed outreach and visitation strategy that works through Sunday School.  

•  Staff liaison for Billy Graham Ministry Call Center.

First Baptist Church of Central Florida - Orlando, FL

• Motivated, organized and trained 395 volunteer leaders.
• Increased Sunday School from 54 classes to 96 (result 965 average).
• Church baptized over 100 people per year.

Bethel Baptist Church – Odenville, AL (Birmingham area)

• Administered Education Department with emphasis on Sunday School, evangelism and discipleship.
• Sunday School grew from 425 to over 600 in average attendance.

Flint River Baptist Church – Hazel Green, AL (Huntsville area)

• Reorganized Sunday School resulting in growth from 325 to 675.
• Assisted building committee in developing site plan and constructing
  new facilities for relocation.
• In top 20 in baptisms for state for 5 years

First Baptist Church Muscle Shoals – Muscle Shoals, AL

• Administered Education Department with emphasis on Sunday School, evangelism and discipleship.
• Increased Sunday School attendance from 550 to an average of 1140.
• Coordinated visitation program involving 250 – 300 weekly.

First Baptist Church Pine Castle - Orlando, FL

• Reorganized Sunday School increasing attendance from 195 to over 600.
• Implemented visitation ministry involving over 80 people weekly.

Hickory Ridge Baptist Church – Memphis, TN

• Reorganized Sunday School stimulating growth from 225 to averaging over 500.
• Developed outreach visitation through the Sunday School.
